Tip #1: Pick your parking space carefully
Choosing the right parking space can do a lot when it comes to keeping your Clermont Toyota's interior cooler. It's best to park in a garage (either a personal garage or a parking garage) to keep your car out of the sun, but really, any covered parking will work. If you have to park in a lot with no covered options, at least try to find a shady spot under a tree to give your ride a bit of extra protection from the sun.
Tip #2: Protect your steering wheel.
Your steering wheel can get hot fast, making it uncomfortable to navigate your car for the first few minutes you're behind the wheel. Protect it from the sun by investing in a sunshade that goes in the windshield, or throw a towel or even a t-shirt over it when you exit the car. Another car care trick is to simply turn the steering wheel 180 degrees after you park so the top of it is now at the bottom and out of the sun all day long.
Tip #3: Get the heat out of your car as quickly as you can.
